Cherries on top

Christmas always seems to have such a big build up....then it's over in the blink of an eye. The girls had a ton of fun and Grandma and Grandpa's. It's nice to get a reprieve, but I sure did miss them.

Ah, the cherry on top. Jeremy's check engine light in the pickup came on, then mine has come on as well. Jeremy took his pickup in this morning, it's just a sensor that can be fixed for a mere $250. We were hoping to be able to run his tires until next winter, until he noticed some of the steel is peeking through on one of them....so new tires this week. Now to find a place that can read the codes from a VW Bug....

And I don't know if it's a phase that will be outgrown or Mom and Dad are raising a brat, but Grace is becoming a handful more and more lately. Outbursts on sharing toys and heaven-forbid Anna touch her bike. Then she yells, throws whatever's in her hands and stomps off to her room. Sometimes there's loud sobbing, sometimes not. Oh, Lord, help me through this.

I'm nearly done with the top of the quilt I'm making for our bed. I plan on just tying the quilt together.
