Grace's Spring Program

A little behind on getting this posted.  Grace's school program was on Monday night.  Apparently the music teacher thinks because the kids are older, 3rd through 6th grade, the program should be longer.  This sucker was a bit over an hour; I felt it was too long.  Anyway, some lovely pictures of my oldest....

We have adopted, more closely, were given, a pregnant momma cat.  We don't want her to have kittens who knows where, so we have made a modified pen for her in the kitchen by the back door.  After the kittens are older we plan to put all of them outside to become "barn" cats.  No kittens yet, but I will keep you posted!

And I think Henry is on the cusp (pun intended!) of getting some teeth.

Randomly on a Tuesday morning

A few random happenings around here lately.  My mom and grandma came to visit last weekend.  I'm sure Henry wrapped them around his finger with his smiles and giggles and wiggles.  We didn't do much; I hope they didn't get too bored.  In other news, we got 10 goslings, they are still quacking it up in the basement.

The girls each used an exersaucer as babies and loved it.  We found a used one at the kids used clothes and gear place.  It wasn't cold in the house, the girls decided he needed to model his hat for awhile.  Once he figures out he can get it bouncing and twisting, he's gonna have a blast.  Right now he just likes being up and able to see.

Anna's spring concert at her school was last night.  The kids all sang some cute songs.  It was short and sweet as a K-2 school program should be.  Grace's is next week.  Here's our pretty girl.

Oh, He's Sneaky!

Oh, ho, ho, he's a sneaky one.  Sometime recently my husband bought 2 turkey chicks.  He banded their legs (so he knew which were which) and kept them with the guinea chicks until the guinea chicks went out to the chicken coop.  The turkey chicks are still downstairs staying cozy with their heat lamp.  He didn't tell me when he bought them.  I think it was at the same time he bought the guinea chicks.  Anyway I thought I'd show you some turkey chicks.
Grace has been fooling with her baby bunnies.  Since there's only three, she brought them in the house in a box the other day.  Henry was checking them out.

We'd just got home from who knows where and he was content, so he was still sitting in his car seat.  And just because....
My oldest and my youngest...what a bunch of cutie patooties.  (I may just be a bit biased!)
